Walker Art Gallery: A display of works by Degas and Rembrandt, as well as modern British art by Lucian Freud and Gilbert and George. Chester Cathedral: Enjoy a tour of this beautiful Cathedral, taking in the stained glass, 14th century choir stalls, impressive nave and fascinating history and architecture. Anthony Gormley's Another Place at Crosby Beach: Marvel at the 100 6'2" tall cast-iron figures, cast from the artist's own body, spread over a two-mile stretch of Crosby Beach. They are revealed then submerged as the tide ebbs and flows... Liverpool tour: Enjoy an informative guided tour of the city and the famous Cathedrals, in the company of a local expert. Antony Gormley's Another Place at Crosby Beach Gormley's sculpture of 100 cast-iron figures is spread over a two-mile stretch of Crosby Beach. Each figure is almost 6'2" tall and weighs over 1,400Ibs. The figures were cast from the artist's own body, and are revealed and submerged as the tide ebbs and flows. The installation has previously been set up in Germany, Norway and Belgium, and was due to be displayed in New York, but has proven so succesful in its current location, that it remains on Crosby Beach for now!
