Tresco St Martin's Tresco Abbey Gardens Eastern Isles St Mary's Star Castle Garrison Hugh Town St Agnes The harbour on St Mary's The Isles of Scilly are five beautiful inhabited islands set amongst countless outcrops and islets, 28 miles from Land's End. Their mild climate and diverse habitats make them a haven for flora and fauna, and also for holidaymakers looking for a peaceful break amid beautiful scenery! Being located on the small island of St Mary's, the itinerary is dependent on the prevailing conditions and tides. Your Saga representative will discuss the best things to see or do each day to help you plan your own agenda. You will enjoy a crossing to Tresco with a visit to the world famous gardens, and a day at leisure for independent exploration or relaxation! In your free time you can explore the tiny capital, Hugh Town or the other main hub, Old Town, in whose church former Labour Prime Minister Sir Harold Wilson is buried. The whole island is only four square miles so there are plenty of places to discover. Go rock-pooling on Porthcressa beach or walk the walls of the Star Castle Garrison for amazing views. You may also have the chance to catch water taxis to St Martin's with its untamed coastline, and tiny St Agnes home to just 72 people. Many of the outlying islands are pristine sanctuaries inhabited solely by seals, birds including puffins and other wildlife. A reasonable level of mobility is required for climbing from boats and walking on uneven terrain. 16 Please quote UG337 Questions on an existing booking? Call FREE on 0800 056 5115 or visit
