Martuljek Peaks and waterfalls: The Martuljek peaks lie in the Triglav National Park. En route, admire the mountain scenery with its wild flowers and snow-capped peaks, before descending to Vrsic. This scenic walk follows the track between Lake Jasna and the Pisnica river past dramatic mountains and through moraine, grassland, woods and meadows. Three Borders Peak: This challenging but rewarding walk begins in neighbouring Austria and zigzags to the top of the mountain ridge. It's part of the 120-kilometre Karavanke mountain chain which runs along the Slovenia and Austrian borders. From the viewpoint you'll enjoy panoramic views over the countryside where the borders of Slovenia, Italy and Austria meet. Walks are up to 12 kilometres long over moderate to strenuous terrain, with some challenging sections with ascents and descents over uneven ground. Extend your holiday 7 nights from £400.
