Your Programme Kalavasos-Tenta, Khorokitia, Kition and Pierides Museum: Visit Kalavasos-Tenta with its Neolithic remains; the farming settlement of Khorokitia dating to 7000 BC; the remains of ancient Kition and the Pierides Museum. Tamassos and Nicosia: Travel through the mountains to ancient Tamasso with its Royal Tombs and ancient sculpture, then onto Nicosia to visit the Cyprus Archaeological Museum. Kourion and Amathus: See Kourion's Greco-Roman theatre, Roman villas and early basilica, before continuing to the remains of the ancient city of Amathus with its acropolis, baths and more. Paphos: This UNESCO World Heritage Site is renowned for its fine mosaic floors, Tombs of the Kings and the ruins of the Temple of Aphrodite. Northern Cyprus: Travel to Engomi, with its Bronze Age tombs, then onto the ancient city of Salamis with its fine Roman remains. Conclude with Famagusta and its medieval architecture. Rethymnon and Armeni: Explore the 16th-century Venetian fortezza, the archaeological museum, and a Late Minoan necropolis. Gournia, Elounda and Spinalonga: Travel to Elounda, take a boat to the former leper colony, Spinalonga, and see the Minoan town at Gourni. Malia and Lasithi Plateau: Visit the Minoan palace at Malia, drive around the Lasithi Plateau and see the Dikteon Cave ­ birthplace of Zeus.
