Your journey with us... Your cruise Day 1: UK to Berlin-Tegel to Eberswalde. Fly to Berlin and embark your ship. Enjoy a welcome drinks reception and dinner on board as you cruise to Eberswalde this evening. Day 6: Lauterbach to Vitte, Hiddensee. This morning is at leisure to explore before you sail to Vitte, on the traffic-free island of Hiddensee ­ a protected habitat for many bird species. Stroll through the village or go exploring further afield on an optional tour in a horse and carriage. Stay longer and see more... Berlin 2 nights, including breakfasts. Before your cruise stay two nights, with breakfasts included, at a locally rated 4-star hotel in Germany's capital. You'll find much to explore, from historic monuments such as the Brandenburg Gate and Charlottenburg Palace to a fantastic selection of modern attractions, including museums, art galleries and shopping arcades. After a day sightseeing you can return for a meal at the hotel restaurant then relax in the welcoming lounge bar. A supplement, and single supplement (per person, per stay), apply. Day 2: Eberswalde to Szczecin. Cruise past a marvel of 20th-century engineering ­ the Niederfinow boat lift before an included trip to the ruins of Chorin Monastery, built in 1334. Navigate the Hohensaaten Lock and continue cruising to Szczecin, once effectively the 'port of Berlin' and so suffered heavy Allied bombing during World War II. Moor overnight. Day 7: Vitte, Hiddensee to Stralsund. Depart for Stralsund, a major medieval trading centre, this morning. An optional walking tour reveals this colourful Hanseatic city. Your ship remains moored in Stralsund overnight. Your stay Day 8: Stralsund to Copenhagen. Disembark your ship after breakfast and board the ferry to Copenhagen. The trip should take around six hours subject to weather conditions and lunch will be served on board. On arrival, transfer to the locally rated 4-star Copenhagen Island Hotel or similar, for a two-night stay with breakfasts included. Dinner is included at the hotel tonight. Day 3: Szczecin to Swinemünde. This morning, enjoy an included tour of the city, now part of Poland, which has been rebuilt with wide tree-lined avenues and parks. The afternoon is at leisure. Depart late afternoon for Swinemünde, arriving during dinner and mooring overnight. Day 4: Swinemünde to Karnin to Peenemünde. Enjoy an included tour of historic Swinemünde after breakfast. Your ship departs at midday for Karnin. En route you'll pass the central lifting section of the former Karnin railway bridge. After a short stop in Karnin, cruise on to Peenemunde, arriving just after dinner and mooring overnight. Day 9: Copenhagen. Enjoy an included tour of the city this morning. This tour starts with a panoramic coach tour of the most famous sights of Copenhagen but you'll also visit the world-famous Tivoli Gardens. Day 10: Copenhagen-UK. Check out after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight home to the UK. Day 5: Peenmünde to Lauterbach. Spend the morning in Peenemünde, formerly an army research centre and used for missile building and testing in World War II. This afternoon sail to the seaside resort of Lauterbach on the German island of Rügen in the Baltic Sea. Perhaps see the island's highlights on an optional tour and moor overnight.
