After taking Saga's included UK door-to-door travel service to Tilbury, embark Columbus. Depart 1600. May 9. Rotterdam, Netherlands. Arrive 0900. Depart 2000. Rotterdam is the world's largest port and Holland's second city. It's nicknamed 'Manhattan on the Meuse' due to its impressive skyscrapers and modern architecture such as cubic houses and the striking Erasmus Bridge. You'll also come across street sculptures and a variety of museums. May 11. Kirkwall, Orkney Islands. Arrive 0700. Depart 2200. Kirkwall is the capital of Orkney with the magnificent 12th-century St Magnus Cathedral at its heart. With individual and artisan shops, two `Palaces' and the Orkney Museum there's lots to see. The charming 18th century port of Tobermory is the capital of the Isle of Mull, the largest of the Argyll islands. Beautiful Dublin is the capital of Ireland and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From its stunning Georgian architecture and wide streets to a choice of museums and literary connections, there's so much to discover including Dublin Castle, Trinity College, and famous Ha'penny Bridge.
