The food was varied & plentiful, the Paella was excellent! The staff are most helpful & its great that they employ some with disabilities. The courtesy bus runs to Mijas & Fuengirola but I used the local buses as well. I would certainly return to this Hotel." Lyn, Worcester Fuengirola Once a tiny fishing village, nearby Fuengirola has evolved into one of the Costa del Sol's most vibrant centres. There is much more to the town than the vast expanse of golden sands, however, with more than 2,000 years of history and culture to uncover. Roman remains, including a sculpture known as the `Venus of Fuengirola' are on display in the Museo de Historia while Roman pillars unearthed more than 30 years ago during the town's expansion stand proudly on the Los Boliches promenade. The Moorish influence on the region is also apparent in the form of the 11th century Castillo de Sohail. To book, please visit your Travel Agent 39
