Discover the incredible wildlife of Kruger National Park, the scenic Garden and Wine Routes and magnificent Cape Coast. Iconic Table Mountain ACTIVITY LEVEL Day 1: UK-Johannesburg. Fly overnight to Johannesburg. Day 2: Pretoria. Arrive and enjoy a tour of Pretoria, an attractive city with an air of history to much of its centre. Continue for an overnight stay at a lodge bordering a game reserve where abundant wildlife roams. D Day 3: Kruger National Park. Journey to Kruger, with lunch in Dullstroom en route. Stay three nights close to Africa's largest National Park. B, L, D Day 4: Kruger National Park. Enjoy a full-day game viewing in one of the largest and oldest National Parks, where you may be lucky enough to see Africa's `big five' ­ lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino ­ in their native habitat. B, D Day 5: Highlights of the Panorama Route and visit to Drakensburg Escarpment Viewpoint. Your tour explores Limpopo Province. See some of the highlights of the Panorama Route including scenic Blyde River Canyon and the `Three Rondavels', visit Bourke's Luck Potholes, Pretoria Johannesburg Kruger National Park Ezulwini Mkuze Shakaland Durban South Africa Pilrims Rest Sani Pass Drakensberg Mountains Cape Town Knysna Port Elizabeth Arniston and God's Window, for superb views across the lowveld. Lunch is included at the old gold-mining town of Pilgrim's Rest. B, L, D Day 6: Ezulwini. Travel to picturesque Ezulwini Valley for an overnight stay and discover why the mountainous kingdom of Swaziland is known as the `Switzerland of Africa'. B, L, D Day 7: Mkuze. Continue to the heart of the Zulu Kingdom and stay two nights in Mkuze, close to the Umbombo Mountain nature reserve. Enjoy lunch on arrival. B, L, D Day 8: Jozini. Take a tranquil morning cruise on Lake Jozini, home to over 350 different species of bird. This afternoon there's an optional game drive in Mkuze. B, D Day 9: Shakaland. Board a St Lucia boat for a cruise ­ with a light lunch included on board ­ to Shakaland where you'll enjoy a lively Zulu cultural show at and stay overnight in traditional beehive-shaped huts. B, L, D Day 10: Sani Pass. Depart today for the Sani Pass pausing en route at the impressive waterfall of Howick Falls, whose waters tumble more than 300 feet. Late this afternoon arrive at the locally rated 3-star Sani Pass Hotel where you stay for the next two nights. B, D Day 11: Sani Pass. Enjoy a full day tour into the Sani Pass which rises to some 9,400 feet, and onto Lesotho. Travelling by 4-4 vehicle, look forward to visiting a village and enjoying lunch at the highest pub in Africa! B, L, D Day 12: Durban. Depart for Durban, where you'll visit the beautiful Botanical Gardens and enjoy tea and scones. Continue to the upmarket Durban suburb of Umhlanga, where you'll stay overnight. B, L, D Day 13: Knysna. Fly to Port Elizabeth early this morning. Visit Storms River in Tsitsikamma National Park en route to Knysna, a town on a beautiful lagoon and a highlight of the Garden Route, where you stay for two nights. B, D Day 14: Knysna. Enjoy free time today and an included cruise on Knysna `s lagoon, to the two sandstone `Heads', that protect it from the Indian Ocean,.. B, D Day 15: Arniston via Oudtshoorn. Drive the scenic Garden Route to the seaside town of Arniston. Along the way you'll stop at an ostrich farm at Oudtshoorn for a tour and lunch. Stay two nights in Arniston, close to an old fishing village, pristine beaches and nature reserves. B, L, D Day 16: Arniston. This morning you visit Cape Aghulas, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans collide and the coast is littered with wrecks! Stroll along the beach or explore the nature reserves. Afternoon at leisure. B, D Day 17: Cape Town. This morning, enjoy a scenic drive to Franschoek, where you'll have an included lunch at Rickety Bridge Winery and a walk in the town. Visit a vineyard and enjoy a wine tasting before continuing to Cape Town for a three-night stay. B, L Day 18: Cape Town. See the city's highlights ­ the cobbled streets, mosques and the pastel homes of Bo Kaap, formerly known as the Malay Quarter, and take a thrilling cable car ride up Table Mountain ­ on a morning tour.
