CROATIA Jewels of Croatia RELAXED See some of Croatia's highlights on this all-inclusive three-centre holiday, which combines a relaxing stay on Brac with stays on the Dalmatian Coast. You can discover more of this beautiful country on a range of excursions, taking you to charming historic towns, exploring spectacular scenery and offering an insight into the unique culture of Croatia. The enchanting waterfront of historic Split ACTIVITY LEVEL Day 1: UK-Solin. Fly to Split and travel to historic Solin near Split, where you spend four nights in the centre of Solin on the banks of the River Jadro. D Days 2-4: Solin. During your time on the Dalmatian Coast you can join a range of excursions. A half-day excursion visits Salona, the fourth-largest city of the Roman empire which was once home to 60,000 people, while on another day, you can enjoy a half-day tour of historical Trogir. You could also take an optional half-day trip to Krka National Park with its roaring cataracts and tumbling cascades which are framed by rich green forests and tranquil lakes, then visit the historic harbour town of Sibenik and see the impressive Cathedral of St Jacob, one of the most important Renaissance buildings in Croatia. B, L, D Croatia Solin Split Omis nights in hotel BRAC Makarska Tucepi Day 5: Solin-Brac. Visit the UNESCO-listed city of Split with its magnificent Diocletian's Palace. This white-stone Roman palace comprises 220 buildings, and today its arcades and arches are filled with shops, restaurants and houses. Afterwards, continue to Brac, taking a 50-minute scenic ferry trip across the cobalt blue waters for a seven-night stay. B, L, D Days 6-11: Brac. Although the third largest island in the Adriatic, Brac has remained a sleepy haven of traditional villages, olive trees, fragrant pine forests and rugged cliffs with peaceful bays. It is known for its virgin olive oil and culinary traditions. An included tour takes you around the island, then you have the rest of the week at leisure. Optional excursions include a tour of Brac's villages, and wine tasting in the traditional village of Bol. B, L, D Day 12: Brac-Tucepi. Today, leave Brac and travel to Split, from where you drive south along the coast to the fishing village of Tucepi situated on the Makarska Riviera. The stunning coastline here is protected by the impressive backdrop of Biokovo Mountain. Stay three nights. B, L, D Days 13-14: Tucepi. During your stay you can join an optional excursion exploring the walled coastal town of Omis at the mouth of the emerald green Cetina River, or perhaps visit Dubrovnik on an optional full-day excursion. Dubrovnik was described by Byron as the `Pearl of the Adriatic' and it is not difficult to see why. Enclosed within 13th-century walls, discover the sights of the old city, including the 16th-century Rector's Palace, the Onophrian Fountains, Sponza Palace and baroque St Blaise's Church. B, L, D Day 15: Tucepi-UK. Travel to Split airport for your return flight to the UK. B Accommodation...
