After taking Saga's included UK door-to-door travel service to the airport, fly via Los Angeles, to Maui. Transfer to the Royal Lahaina Resort (4Q), for a three-night stay with breakfasts included. Enjoy a welcome drink before an evening at leisure. B Day 2: Maui, Hawaii. Today, join an included full-day sightseeing tour of Haleakala National Park, named after Maui's highest peak, a dormant volcano. The name means `house of the sun' ­ legend says the demigod Maui lassoed the sun from the peak here to lengthen the day. Discover more at the Visitor Center before you return to your hotel. B Day 3: Maui, Hawaii. Enjoy a morning at leisure relaxing on the golden beach or by the pool. Alternatively, head into the historic Old Town of Lahaina to discover its history as a whaling town, a mission, it's royal connections and Banyan Tree that covers an acre! Look forward to an included Luau dinner at the resort tonight, a vibrant celebration of the food, music, dance and traditions of Hawaii and the Polynesian Islands. B, D Day 4: Maui to Kauai, Hawaii. Fly to the Hawaiian island of Kauai ­ the `Emerald Island'. Visit Waimea Canyon at Kona. At 14 miles long, one mile wide and more than 3,600 feet deep it's known as the `Grand Canyon of the Pacific'. Afterwards, head to the Courtyard Marriott at Coconut Beach (3Q), for a two-night stay. B Day 5: Kauai, Hawaii. Enjoy a day at leisure. Make the most of the beach or pool or go exploring independently. Head to the nearby open-air Coconut Marketplace for a spot of shopping, and perhaps some lunch. Alternatively, treat yourself to an optional helicopter ride over the island. B Day 6: Kauai to `Big Island', Hawaii. Fy to Hawaii, the largest island in the archipelago (you could fit all the others inside it twice!) and so referred to as Big Island. Although only 4,000 square miles it's home to 11 of the world's 13 climate zones and one of the world's most active volcanoes, Kilauea. Travel to Kailua Kona, usually shortened to Kona, where world-famous Kona coffee is grown and visit a plantation. Afterwards, transfer to the Royal Kona Resort (3Q), for a three-night stay with breakfasts included. Join your tour manager for an orientation tour of this seaside town. B Day 7: Big Island, Hawaii. Board your coach after breakfast for an included full-day tour of the Big Island. You'll visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, home of the Kilauea volcano and a sacred place for Native Hawaiians.
