The Harmony G is a 53-metre luxury mega yacht, similar in silhouette and comfort to a private luxury yacht you might find in Monte Carlo and small enough to slip effortlessly into exclusive moorings that larger ships cannot access. At each destination you can relax on board, explore independently or join included and optional excursions, so you can choose the depth to which you immerse yourself in your surroundings. Launched in 2001, the yacht underwent complete renovation in 2012-13 creating sleek, contemporary interiors that enhance the glamour of your cruising experience. There are 21 tastefully decorated and air-conditioned cabins on board, each with a television, CD/DVD player, mini-fridge, safe deposit box and an en suite bathroom with shower. The luxurious dining room and lounge are focal points of daily life aboard ship and provide great views of one's surroundings through the surround windows. Choose from table service or a hot and cold buffet with the option of eating al fresco on the sun deck. Complimentary local wine, beer or soft drinks are served with lunch and dinner. Tenders will take you ashore and get you up close to the wildlife and natural wonders on your adventure. Day 1: UK-Banjul, The Gambia. Fly to Banjul and transfer to Banjul to embark your mega-yacht, Harmony G (4h). Enjoy a welcome drink, speciality food, fish and music. D Day 2: Banjul to Kunteh Kinteh Island to Tendaba. Perhaps join an optional excursion to Banjul city and Bakau. After lunch, sail to James Island and land by tenders. Later sail to Tendaba, moor overnight and enjoy a `Mediterranean Night in Africa'. B, L, D Day 3: Tendaba. Relax aboard ship or join an included half-day walking safari in Batelling, at the entrance of the Kiang West National Park. After lunch, set out on an included excursion to the Bao Bolong Wetland Reserve on tenders. Remain moored in Tendaba. B, L, D Day 4: Tendaba to Kuntaur. Sail up the Gambia River towards Kuntaur, where you arrive in the early afternoon. Perhaps join an optional cruise aboard a large motor pirogue. Remain moored in Kuntaur. B, L, D Day 5: Kuntaur to Jangjanbureh to Kaur. Perhaps join an optional excursion to Georgetown, a settlement for freed slaves founded in 1823. After lunch, sail downstream to Kaur. Enjoy the Captain's farewell dinner on board. B, L, D Day 6: Kaur to Banjul. Sail downstream towards Banjul where you moor for a short stay. Continue on towards Dakar and after dinner enjoy a special Gambian-themed night. B, L, D Day 7: Dakar, Senegal Arrive in Dakar in the early morning. After breakfast exploring ashore independently or join an optional excursion to Goree Island off the coast of Dakar. After dinner, sail south towards the Saloum River Delta, spending the night at sea. B, L, D Day 8: Djiffere to Banjul to UK Arrive in the Kingdom of Sine, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Join an optional excursion to Djiffere and Joal-Fadiouth or relax onboard. In the afternoon your ship leaves Senegal and sails south to Banjul. Disembark early this evening and travel to the airport for your overnight return flight home.
